Hello.

We have received a lot of inquiries from E60 5-Series enthusiasts and we have decided to become fully active on 5Series.net!

For those who haven't heard of our company, we are a manufacturer of wheels for BMW vehicles. We introduced our CSL wheel on September of last year based on the market demand that we saw for a CSL replica wheel that resembles more accurately the original wheel as far as overall quality and design. We have been in business for almost 4 years now and have manufactured several wheel designs including our first BMW entry with our 19" 162 that proved to be an outstanding wheel, incredibly strong and with a very durable finish.

Our wheels are manufactured in Taiwan by one of Taiwan's most reputable factory which uses only Italian made low-pressure casting machines to manufacture only low-pressure cast wheels as opposed to gravity casting which are inferior in construction. They especialize in the OEM market only and thus carry very stringent quality standards with over 50% of their production reaching the US-market. They carry ISO Certifications, Japan VIA and JWL Certifications and most importantly Germany TüV approval.

The advantages of low pressure die casting process are several :
- higher yield achievable
- reduction of machining costs
- excellent control of process parameters
- good metallurgical quality
- leads to an optimal use of the aluminum
- excellent mechanical and technological properties of the castings.

Disadvantages of gravity die-casting:
- High porosity rate
- High absorption of impurities
- Less dense material which results in a heavier wheel to be able to achieve the required load rating
- Very high process variations which leads to more defective units

In essence, Low-Pressure Cast provides a wheel that is much stronger and lighter. A stronger wheel will be more resistant to bending and by been lighter you`ll improve the performance of your vehicle.

Our offsets is also designed exclusively for the vehicles we represent. For the 5-Series we have a full range of offsets from 19x8.5" ET +15mm, 19x8.5" ET +35mm, 19x9.5" ET +20mm & 19x9.5" ET +35mm.

We currently have two styles, the CS7 and the SF-71.

Our customer service ranks #1 among the vendors and our customers can attest to that. Our wheels come with a 2-year warranty against manufacturer's defects which includes shipping from and to the customer. Most services issues are taken cared of within the first 24-hours. We also allow our customers to purchase wheels individually and not as a set in case they need to get a replacement. We also provide a recurring customer discount in the event you`ll like to replace your set.

Thank you and hope we are welcomed!

Hi

We just made a small donation and we`ll donate $50 for every set sold here. We are being very aggressive with our introduction to the 5-Series market so expect some great pricing coming shortly to the sales forums. Thank you for the welcoming!

Shocking how so many wheel companies are in business-These look no different than every other csl rep out there-specifically VMR which use the same casting method, are light weight and offer 4 different colors of these same wheels, plus they are made in america.

No offense but why would someone purchase these over vmr or any other company? Seems a big venture to bring a product to market that already exists multiple places.

If they make 20's, I'd buy from them. VMR has no 20" options for this style and I'm not sure why.

Our CS7 wheels are CSL reproductions, so they can't look different than the other CSL reps. However, they are.

There are also several advantages our CSL wheels have::

- Our wheel concavity reflects a nearly identical face as the OEM CSL
- Our wheel spoke profile is thicker and resembles more the OEM CSL
- Our wheels finish is Silver, as opposed to Hypersilver, which is a closer match to the OEM finish
- Our wheels are powdercoated which is a more durable finish
- Our rear wheel weights only .7lbs more than the OEM CSL (25.5lbs vs 26.2lbs)

Please see image below: Alufelgen left, VMR right. Notice the differences.

Concavity is also VERY DEEP on our wheels vs VMRs:

Our wheels are also manufactured using Low-Pressure Casting vs Gravity Cast that VMR uses.

The advantages of low pressure die casting process are several :
- higher yield achievable
- reduction of machining costs
- excellent control of process parameters
- good metallurgical quality
- leads to an optimal use of the aluminum
- excellent mechanical and technological properties of the castings.

Disadvantages of gravity die-casting:

- Very high process variations which leads to more defective units

In essence, Low-Pressure Cast provides a wheel that is much stronger and lighter. A stronger wheel will be more resistant to bending and by been lighter you`ll improve the performance of your vehicle.

Our wheels are also significantly lighter due to the different manufacturing process. Here is the weight of a VMR V710 19x9.5" vs our SF-71 in 19x9.5":

VMR V710 19x9.5 weighing in at 28.0lbs

Our Alufelgen SF-71 in the same size weights 26.8lbs:

That's a difference of 1.2lbs for the same size wheel. Our wheels are also rated at 1600lbs per corner. So strength is not sacrificed.

VMR wheels are not made in the US. They are made in China. Our wheels are made in Taiwan.

Our wheels are also powdercoated vs VMR's wet paint. Powdercoating provides a rich, thick and strong coat on the wheels that is very durable compared to wet paint.

This venture has been very exciting. As you see there are several advantages our wheels have over our competitors. That has been the key to our success.

Hope this answers your question.
