My Ride: E60 520d with BMW Night Vision, Adaptive Bi-Xenon, Adaptive Cruise Control, Pro Logic 7, Pro Nav with DVD changer and TV, Aux in for Ipod, Hella White Taillamps, Red Angel eyes, HUD, BMW Individual Backseat DVD with infrared headsets, Alp White 3, Comfort Seats with ventilation electric memory, sunroof, PDC, Alpine remap, M-Sport, Dynamic Drive, Steptronic ..... (ALL OPTIONS) (Why not get all options then buying a bigger engine?)

Dear German speaking friends;
as you can follow up in Terrible Accident and After the Accident I had an accident which me and my dealer believes to be caused by the car as a result dealer asked me to send a declaration o BMW AG so if I send the attached text in german it will be much more convenient any help is greatly appreciated

BaranE, I am not good in written German, but can talk and understand sufficient to find my way around.
For the written part, I use some free web translation services which do the job very well.
Since your letter has been written in excellent English, the translation should come out very good. Perhaps you could send a billingual letter English on 1 side, German on the other

Just send it in English. Most people in Germany and certainlyt the ones handling your letter in Munich will speak English.

Sorry, I haven't been here the last two days. Perhaps my translation can still help you:

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

ich fuhr mit meinem E60 520d Modelljahr 2006 (VIN CP61182 ? Registry 34 BRA 11) vom Tepe Nautilus Einkaufszentrum zur?ck nach Hause. Ich fuhr mit angemessener Geschwindigkeit (ca. 25 km/h) in einen Kreisverkehr. Kurz nach der Umfahrung des Kreisverkehrs (an der Spitze) sa? mein Lenkrad fest und die Bremsen reagierten nicht. Das Ergebnis war, dass ich an den Randstein stie? und in einem Drahtzaun h?ngen blieb, nachdem ich ?ber den Randstein gekommen war. Es entstanden unterschiedliche Besch?digungen an verschiedensten Teilen meines Wagens. Obwohl die Verkehrpolizei ?ber den Vorfall informiert wurde, wurde wegen des Mangels an Gesch?digten kein Bericht erstellt. Die Polizei kam nicht an. Als Ergebnis des Unfalls wurde mein linker Vorderreifen besch?digt, also montierte ich den Ersatzreifen, um das Fahrzeug bewegen zu k?nnen und fuhr langsam in mein ca. 1km entferntes zu Hause. Ich versuchte den Wagen bei der Garage abzustellen, aber die Bremsen griffen nicht, so musste ich einen kleinen Bordstein anbringen, um das Fahrzeug zum Stoppen zu bringen. Im Laufe des Abends rief ich den BMW Notfall Service, um einen Abschleppdienst f?r den Wagen zu organisieren, welches am n?chsten Tag zum Borusan Istinye H?ndler ASAP geschleppt werden musste.
Zwei Wochen sp?ter gingen in meiner Instrumententafel und meinem I-Drive Monitor Warnlichter an. Also kontaktierte ich den BMW Istinye H?ndler und sie fanden einen defekten LWZ (SZL) Sensor, welcher ausgetauscht werden musste und umgehend bestellt wurde. Mir wurde gesagt, dass ich den Wagen sicher mit dem defekten Sensor fahren konnte und dass da nichts w?re, wor?ber ich mir Sorgen machen musste, also setzte ich meine Fahrt fort. Aber scheinbar bewahrheiteten sich die Worte des H?ndlers nicht.
Im Laufe des Tages gelang es dem Fahrer (Sezer ?ubuk) des Abschleppwagens (reg. 34 VZ 1356), den BMW Assist geschickt hatte, nicht, den Wagen zu starten und er hatte gro?e M?he den Schalthebel auf Leerlauf zu schalten, damit es auf den Abschleppwagen geladen werden konnte.
Es ist mein Gl?ck, dass niemand bei meinem furchtbaren Unfall verletzt wurde. Mein Schaden, die Frustration, verlorene Zeit und mein Vertrauen k?nnen nur ersetzt werden, wenn BMW die notwendigen Ma?nahmen in dieser Sache ergreift. Ich glaube daran, dass ich meinen Wagen sicher und einwandfrei wieder zur?ck bekomme.
