as long as the tire sizes correspond to rolling diameter, there is no alignment needed with switching between the sets of wheels. you will need an alignment if you change the ride height of the car.

Not needed but it couldn't hurt if you haven't had an alignment in a while. When I got my new wheels installed they did a 4 wheel alignment and as it ends up the alignment was really screwed up on the car. I commented to the guy that I didn't notice any pulling or other symptoms of a bad alignment and it said that it has to be really bad like REALLY bad before you would notice it on a 5 series. I'd say for the $125 or whatever it would cost you, why not? If you find out the alignment is off you've saved your new tires from wearing out earlier than normal.

Realingment not needed just because you changed wheels but a good idea because the alignment may have been affected by normal every day driving (pot holes ,unforseen speed bumps, I.E.D., landmine, etc.) while you still had the previous wheels on.

concur with prior posts. Take a look at your current tires and look for any unusual wear. have fun with your new shoes.

You should, esp if its been a while. The 125 dollars you spend may wind up saving you hundreds of dollars in tire damage

like said before, if the old tires wore even, then there is nothing to adjust.
