alignment covered by warranty?

Unhappy

The aligment its covered by warranty?...Its only have 8,800 milles and only have one year. The servece advisor told me that the first oil change its gone a be at 15,000 milles. The idrive (service section) tell me that my oil change is past due?...in who i can trust?...my car or the service advisor?....And what about the alignment?....By the way im newbie here so please HELP ME! :'(

It may depend on where you are from ... I know that in Canada brakes are not covered while in other countries they are ...

Usually not , unless you bring it in immediately after taking delivery. They will tell you that if it was properly aligned at delivery, any alignmne troubles were casued by road conditions, e.g. you hit a pot hole.

You may be able to get them to "reset" AS (if you have it) which may solve alignment issues.

I'd be inclined to trust the car if it tells you it thinks it needs the oil changed. As I understand it the oil change interval starts out at 15,000 miles but will change based on driving and oil conditions. Unless your oil sensors are faulty (or iDrive is playing up) the car thinks the oil has got to the point where it's time for a change.

Talking about oil and oil changes ... without looking at my manual, where do I check my oil level? Is this the oil dip stick or the auto-transmission stick?
