Alarm turned on while car was started

i have a 07 550i just got some lci tails with the v6 cables a few weeks ago.
While driving car beeped and idrive was saying right tail light malfunction, i thought no big deal just needs a bulb.
Get home tell my brother to press the brakes so i could see which bulb needs to be replaced and i opened the trunk.
Bro pressed the brakes, and i didnt see any bulbs that were out. After a few seconds the Car alarm turns on while the car is STARTED..
I turn the car off, and the alarm is still going crazy. Closed the trunk then start the car and alarm turned off.
The tail light malfunction doesn't come on anymore either. So no more problems.
Anyone know why this happened, also could it happen again?
