Hi guys...
Right, I have a 2004 pre LCI e60 525D. I bought this as a cheap car, it had a crash and was classed Cat D where passenger side doors were damaged, I have now replaced the doors and it is looking perfect body wise.
However, at first when I swapped the doors over the airbag and restraints lights came on and the iDrive message pops up on start up, I bought myself a reader and it was telling me passenger undervoltage. I thought there was an issue with the wiring loom (the cables to the air bag had broke, so I soldered this to the original wiring loom from the damaged door... and now it's telling me I have an overvoltage.
Any ideas what I can do to fix this / remove the restraints system and air bag light + message?
I have checked over all the wiring and there's no damage that's visible, minus where I have soldered and shrink wrapped the passenger door airbag.
Thanks
Martin
