Default airbag problem.

I have 525xi 2006 with airbag icon and seat belt icon and code indicates front impact sensor problem replaced it but I cannot clear the code. I would try to calibrate the passenger seat, but it says connect the seat to car cigate plug in and calibrate what is that?

Barring the new sensor is not faulty, you could have a poor connection or faulty wiring.

I would take a look at the wiring/connector. I believe the sensors are managed by the SRS control module by resistance not power. Did you use a new sensor or used sensor? Did you clean the connector pins?

Also I'm not understanding why are you trying to calibrate the seat map when you don't have an error for it? It shouldn't need calibration if you replaced it.
