air conditioning turns on

anyone had a problem where after you start your car, drive off and the air condition turns on like a ghost presses the button. Turn it of and a few seconds later turns on again. This problem happens every now and then.

Yes, I think we've ALL had the problem. Just turn the know all the way to the left (to the lowest setting) and it will stop happening. Worked for me, damn, I love this forum.

I think interior condensation causes the A/C to turn on.

Also if you haven't realize if theres even a very slight bump can cause it to turn on also..

at least thats my theory

Mine only does it when the temp settings are set to cold. It will continually turn back on, all I do is set the temp knobs warmer and then turn off the AC. works every time
