Question AHL issue

So my '05 525i has xenon adaptive headlights. For the longest time they worked no problems. Recently I noticed that the green light started blinking and I noticed them lights no longer adjust when they come on nor when I turn the wheel. I did the LM2 retrofit, but this issue was present prior to that, I thought changing the light control module would've helped but I guess not. I took it to a shop and they could not even connect to or communicate with the control module. He told me it could be one of 3 things: a bad fuse, bad wiring, or a bad module. I checked the fuse for the adaptive and its fine. I upgraded the Angel eye bulbs to LED I bought from umnitza, but that's the only thing I've done or changed on the headlights.

Any suggestions? I was told to try unplugging my angel eye bulbs and see if that gets them to work again, could the Angel eye bulbs be an issue? What's weird is I get no errors on the car about my adaptive headlights having any issues., but a local coder I went to to code the LM2 came up with E51D and E51A fault codes?

I read that post, but I've had this issue even prior to me upgrading from the LM1 to the LM2, could there be another underlying cause, or should I just try what that post said and hope for the best?

Check the wiring in the headlights. BMW uses a very low grade "Eco friendly" wiring insulation that becomes dry and just falls of the wires. It's so Eco friendly that it lands whole light assmeblies in the land fill before there time.

Is there a way to code out that separate ahl module instead of doing all of that?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think I have a separate control module for my AHL's like in the PDF file from the other post linked above??...

The build date for my car is 22/2/2005

Just curious of anyone knows where else that separate AHL control module could be besides behind the glove box, as it looks like I don't seem to have that separate control module... Or is it possible to code out that separate module and just use the light control module?

Hey I also have this issue with my 04 that the lm2 works fine . But it's taken out my DSC and my transmission shifting like shit due to DSC and active steering. Ugh nice have AE for day time running but not worth all these problems.

if I could code out AHL I think everything will stop looking for it and work more like a halogen car instead of Xeon. I'm buying another car this one has 102k. Miles. I think I just want to code my car back to lm1 but I'm not sure how to back out of it. Everything I tried the damn car still shows lm2. I can plug in my lm1 and it works but still have all the other problems because it's looking for lm2. I'm so damn frustrated...
