I just purchased a 2008 535xi after my baby was totaled in Hurricane Sandy. The car as 80,000 miles but looks immaculate. I have the option of purchasing a powertrain warranty from carchex that will cover the car until 180,000 miles and it will cost 3k. The turbos and transmission are my main concern and are covered. Am I missing anything else? Is it worth it to purchase this? Will the turbos likely fail before this mark?

i would buy the warranty. I would of been out like 3-4K this week alone if i didnt have my warranty. Now im only out about 300-400 bucks.

85K miles. Bought in september 2010 with 40K miles. 50 mile a day commute round trip for work, all highway.
