My Ride: 2008 E61 535xiT Black on Black

Hi there,

I have here a complete list of all parts required to do the ///M Aero kit install on my 2008 E61 535xi with night vision, active cruise and PDC. I'd like a sanity check on it because something doesn't seem right to me. A full kit advertized with everything needed for installation is for sale at Bekkers for $2098.95. The parts as listed below come to a total of $3,548.98 Does anyone have experience with the Bekkers kit and know if it really includes everything?

Contact Gary of Newport, he can get it for you waaaaaaay cheaper than that. He is the parts manager at BMW of Newport (Rhode Island) - don't waste your $$$ that is way too much to pay. For a little more (buying from Gary) you can get it painted and installed - about $2500.

You can also source the kit from Tischer BMW for $1350 + $150 shipping (pdc add $245)

Ah - that is a big negative. The prices quoted above ARE from Tischer BMW. The "Aero kit" advertized is $1295 (for the wagon) but the kt does not include the additional parts I have listed (I quoted the additional parts on their web site just about an hour ago). Jason Reighard from Tischer emailed me this list of additional parts and advised me the kit isn't really an inclusive "kit".

You can use almost all of the existing parts on your car. You don't need all that. Get the Mtech kit from Trinity for $800 or so shipped that has everything you need.

Nerwyll, EMAIL THIS MAN, STAT.

I got mine from Gary about two years ago for $1200 something.
I used our company's shipping account to get discount on the freight.
Had my local body shop paint and install the kit for $920.
Still looks great up to this day.

Thanks for the referral to Gary. I sent him an email last night and will see what he can do for me.

The advantage to Tischer is that they are local, thus no shipping and no tax as I'm not an MD resident. Their prices are normally the best, but something is certainly out of whack with this aero kit.

Hey man, I work in Ashburn. Just get it from Gary, he'll hook you up.
