hi im looking for some advice i have just bought a 2003 e6 530d se with idrive with sat-nav but no cd changer so i bought a changer fron ebay and went to fit it but will not work so i gather i need to go to bmw to get it programed in can anyone advise on this also i just got a dension 500 from ebay that i intend to fit once the cd changer is working so i have been looking on the website on info on how to fit the dension unit i did find some info with photos and thought it looks ok but on fitting the cd changer i seen that my wires are not the same as the forum members he shows you the plug for the cd changer and he unclips another type of plug from within that on that holds a fibre optic cable bu my car only has the one plug with two wires in it purley for the cd changer so im a bit stuck i would be greatfull for any help thanks
