Someone please chime in and help me with this. I've had no luck searching the internet so far. I want to be able to adjust camber in the front but it seems impossible with the tiny opening on strut tower. I heard that some people will slot the 3 holes on the tower so they can slide the coilover over a bit but that sounds kind of sketchy. I know I can buy camber plates for the front but how would I adjust them with the opening on the tower being so small? Can anyone show me an example of their setup?

strut towers on the E60 are already slotted. If you want to adjust camber, you'll have to 'punch out' the locating pin on the upper strut tower. I wouldn't modify the strut towers though, they're structural aluminum and any material you remove can potentially weaken the integrity of the strut tower.

I just had this discussion at my friends shop where they did it for a 335. He said you get a certain sized hex key.. shove it all the way down and unscrew it.. then you can slide it a little bit .. that's it.

I have aftermarket coilovers on my car so I dont think that would apply for me. I also wouldnt want to add much negative camber to my car if it had stock suspension. There has to be someone here who has done this. To think that not a single e60 owner has modified their strut housing or came up with some sort of way to ad aggressive negative camber to the front of their car seems odd. I know its difficult with these cars but nothing is impossible.
