So I'm following a delivery checklist that has been posted in this forum, and have asked my dealer for the port check and trucking documents for the car (which i'm picking up in the next couple days).
She claims she's never seen a buyer ask for these documents, and has never seen them personally. Was wondering if anyone else has asked for and received them. Could the list be outdated? I don't want to be more forceful until I can verify that others in north america / california have gotten a hold of these documents before (saving up my negotiating points for other freebies...)
thanks!

If she reneges, all you need is an affidavit from the dealership that there absolutely has been no damage repaired on your vehicle at port, or the VPC, or anywhere enroute from the Dingolfing plant. That sounds reasonable and should do it.
