I haven't been able to find anything in my searches on this forum but I found a few things on google. My 545 did not come with heated seats and on google I found a few pages where people stated they just needed to buy the faceplate and the heaters to put in the heated seats. I was wondering if all the wiring and connections were in the seats and if this would be an easy add or if it would be better to go to the dealer and have them do it. Any suggestions?

Totally different seats...no practical way to do this. No way your dealer is going to do it, that's for sure.

It was nearly a deal breaker when i realized the 08 550 I was buying was missing heated seats... I did not realize you could get comfort seats without heat. The sales person asured me that he "knew a guy" that could do it for 500 per seat and i would never know the difference from the factory heated seats i was used to.

After a few phone calls... i was informed that due to a change in placement for an airbag sensor in the 08 only... it could not be done.

My sales person received a personal call... and my butt is still chilly. Also... i have two "blank" buttons that stare at me every day

Please keep us updated if you find new information. thanks.
