Does anyone know how difficult it is (or have a detailed manual) as to how to get behind the radio to install an FM transmitter?

Are you referring to an FM Modulator or antenna relay so you can listen to another source(mp3, Sirius) through the radio? I just got a Sirius S50 and it sounds like crap through the internal FM Modulator regardless of what station I listen to it on, so I've been looking for a fix to improve the sound quality...An antenna relay was recommended but the installer at the Car audio shop was nervous to mess around with the I-Drive/radio combo and didn't know where it should get connected...Anyone else have thoughts on this?

I was going to hook up an FM modulator for an MP3 or I may add my own AUX input and have the dealer activate it. That is why I was asking how difficult it is to get behind the radio unit.

Why bother with the FM modulator. Have the Aux imput installed if you want good sound. If you are adding sat radio, thinking you still can use the aux input, which is always better option to the FM receiver. I paid 150 for the aux input.
