Added AUX Input for MP3
#1
I had the dealership add in the AUX input so I can use my MP3 player in my 545i. I already had a CD Changer, which they kept in and functional. I went with the basic/generic input plug vice the iPod. $496 installed .... $386 for labor and the rest was parts. Crazy... Probably could have done it aftermarket, but the programming seems to be the major item of concern and I really needed a progman update.

Its amazing the cost difference these delears charge around the country for the Aux. Input.
When I got the time I'm heading down to my dealer and see what they charge. I got to get one in soon. Sounds like the rule of thumb should be cost of part and one hour of labor (based on the S any more I chances are their taking advantage of you.
How does it sound overall?????

I just have the radio and a cd player so I want to get the ipod adapter. The adapter alone is gonna be $300, I'm not sure how much the labor is to install it. But yeah it is pricey.

I was planning on getting the software upgrade for the bluetooth, do you think I should get it installed together, would it be cheaper?
