Most likely yes need recoding....but explain to us details. You had halogens prior? If so, needs added to VO and then coded. Maybe more...anyone else?

Same issue happened to me last week. Shop replaced xenon light, passenger side. Brought it back, ask that they fix it. Further troubleshooting said stepper motor issue. I asked they replace bulb again, effectively making them take it apart again, including stepper motor. Issue resolved after they put it back correctly (stepper motor).

Was everything working fine until light went out and replaced? If that is the case, you need to take it apart and put back together again. If stepper motor is not aligned properly, adaptive system will not work.

Another thing I change the original angel lights for anothers white bulbs the left side work fow few days but not more I put back the original bulb but doesnt work.

Your modual is prob shot. adaptive lights have two moduals on the bottem. One for the zenons and the smaller one for the angle part of it.
