Adaptive steering gets hard after going through water
I have a 2005 545i and when I drive through a water puddle deeper than a couple of inches my adaptive steering suddenly gets hard to turn and sometimes the yellow triangle lights up until I reset the steering by turning right and left.
The steering returns to normal after a short time (15-25 seconds) but this could cause a real problem if you need to turn quickly after going through water.
I do have the under car splash guards/belly pan installed too.
Has anyone else experience this?
