During my drive home last night I damaged rims and tyres (documented in another thread), on a big plus I noticed the Adaptive Lights (Part of the visibility package) were out of this world, the way they work precisly with your steering, particularly on full beam along dark country roads, I was blown away by the difference they make.
I would hazzard a guess that they help oncoming traffic to know your around the next bend too, I passed both a motorcycle and a 4 x 4 coming the other way, both had slowed to the side of the road before i made it around the corner, normally it would have been a mid corner shuffle on these narrow roads, firstly a big thumbs up to Citroen who must have planted the seed all those years ago with the DS then the SM and also to BMW who seem to have refined an excellent driver and safety aid.
DS & SM below for reference.

Hi Rudy
I totally forgot about Tucker, I dare say even before Tucker someone had the bright idea, my recolection was european based, Tucker was one hell of a story, I enjoyed the movie alot.
Pre Tucker i can imagine teenagers being employed to run ahead with an oil lamp checking for oncoming traffic hehe
