Default Adaptive Headlights Not Working After Alternator Changed Out

Had a major service done recently and among things changed were the alternator.

Noticed that now my Adaptive headlights no longer swivel or adjust the leveling when the car is started. Green LED light next to the headlight switch dial is flashing when headlights are activated. That light used to be illuminated solid, if my memory serves correctly.

Anyone experienced this?

Whats good I have the exact same problem with my headlights except some chick clipped my from bumper. As far as I know from all the research I've done it could be the stepper motor inside the headlight itself. Do you have the error msg "adaptive headlight malfunction" come up on the iDrive every time you start the car?

It could be a multitude of causes.
For the beginning you better read the errors with DIS.
