While parked, when I turn the steering wheel to the right, I can see the headlights turn to the right and the "DRL" turns on as well.

When I turn it to the left, the headlights don't turn but the "DRL" turns on.

Is this normal or should I take it into the dealer? My cars a CPO so this should be covered right?

That is normal. It's designed this way so you don't blind the oncoming traffic.

Also, the DRL you're referring to is actually the cornering light for LCI cars. Which can actually be disabled via coding if you want. Or changed to fog lights if I remember correctly.

Its normal that the adaptive lighting only moves to the right and not the left?

When stopped, yes.

FYI that system is monitored and if it malfunctions, you will get a triangle and a status error in iDrive.

When I first did my LCI retrofit, before I coded the SMC's my headlights would go left or right at a stop, it was very annoying to other drivers.

Ah that makes sense. I should've guessed that the all knowing iDrive would let me know if something is wrong.

Not entirely true. I've seen the adaptive light flashing which is an indication of something wrong with the system yet there was no warning on the Idrive. This happened to my sister '05 645

That could be correct, but unsure if LCI could be the same as Pre-LCI.
