Hey guys, I have Orion V2's installed in my headlights and they worked fine for a good bit after i got the installation done. But the installer left a little hole in the front left headlight so it fogged up a couple of times inside and i had to remove the headlight to dry it with a hairdryer. However, while drying it, it started to rain even though there was NO clouds when i took the headlight out. I had to move my car quick (therefore turn it on without the headlight in there). The light knob was on 0 inside the car. After drying and putting the light back in there, both of my adaptive headlamps stopped working?! The one i took out to dry is just pointed straight down and wont move with my steering wheel. Other one wont move either. I tried getting it recoded but that didnt work out and then i tried going to BMW and they said i need new headlights.

Anyone know how to fix this? Please help

Thanks!

Sorry to hear dude, maybe new AHL unit?

Also, how bad was the fogging? My first Orion install (my headlights), it would occasionally fog, but wasn't bad. All I had to do was take one of the caps off and it would dissipate in half an hour.

With that said, hopefully you get it all sorted out.

the fogging got bad. water would start to condense inside the headlight and puddle up a little
how much would new AHL units cost? and how about the installation?

thanks for the feedback!

Sounds like something got damaged when the lights cycled/leveled when you started the car without the headlamp in it.

Sorry man, not sure about the price. It should be the squarish unit under each headlights. After the install, just get someone to code it, and it'll work.

New $130 each and if you look on ebay would be the best way.
