I got a 09 TL not a SHAWD (Those are so rare), I know better than to mess with most BMWs, unless its a 328 or something.
Performance oriented drivers cross shop the BMW, so that's perhaps why you are seeing what you do.

That hilarious because I had 2 Acura TL's over the weekend trying to race me and cut me off. I was driving normal and they were all around me.

No TL's yet, but a lot of 328's and e39's. A few youngsters in there g35's and g37's and due to that I look a little younger than my age 29, they expect me to go once the light changes to green. I don't even give them a second look as my gas mileage is not worth it, not to mention the dangers of the occasional red light runners.
You have to exert a lot of patients owning a e60. There have been numerous occasions where I was tailgated so extremely that I wanted to stop my car get out and punch the guy in the face that was doing it. But I live New York and getting out your car like that can get you shot, so I know better.
Saturday night I was heading to my friend's house cruising at 65mph, and out of no where comes a e39 to no surprise he making loving to my rear bumper, no homo.
I was so frustrated
that I wanted to brake check the ass clown, but I decided exercising the V8 was a better decision. Went in on the throttle and 1 car lengths 2 car lengths 3 car lengths no need to explain the rest

My fiancee's brother has a new Acura TL, we both drove to Dallas this past weekend and raced a few times along the 3 1/2 hour drive when the road was open. My tuned 535i smoked his TL, was no competition.

Funny thing is.. I have the same problem with G35/G37's.... coupes only..
Funny someone already mentioned these cars... but i usually just laugh and conserve the fuel..
I pulled up to a red light one day, and a younger kid pulled up beside me in his G35 coupe in AWW of my murdered beast..... revved his engine and wanted to race, we laughed and ignored him. He took off like an idiot and got stopped at the next red light probably 500' away. I pulled up with "niggas in paris - Jay Z" just pumping, and he was trying to talk over it and ask me to race again.. we were ignoring the questions and just looking at him while he repetidly asked to "go", and when the light turned green he took off mad because we were too busy staring at him and listening to " I ball so hard mu-fuckas wanna find me, that shit cray" ahahahah..
If you dont know the song.. listen to it and you'll get the humour..
