Hi, I live in sunny (hot & humid) Singapore. Where the four seasons go thru: hot, hotter, even hotter & hottest.

am trying to get my dealer to quote for a retrofit of the ventilated seats (front only)

anyone with any experience (negative) with this option?

The ventilated seats are great.
I use them during summer here even though our summers don't last that long.

Great option. I use it all the time and don't want to miss it anymore.

You need confort seats... you need to switch out the whole seat if its even retrofitable...

The perforated (Nasca) leather is great too.
Here in Portugal the ventilation feature is a must !

Even with A/C you sweat and the seat gets wet. With ventilation you don't sweat. You can even use heater and ventilation together, so that your back is warm but you don't sweat.

i dont think a retrofit is possible unless you are changing the entire seat, which will prove not to be worth the while.
i recently drove a rental with ventilated seats, the cold 'pat pat' feel is awesome.
i now fully understand the need for it in hot climate; i have heated seats for the winter and my back feels so nice and warm, not to mention my passenger lady friend(s) who adores her thongs. so do i.
