After shifting from Park to Drive, the steering wheel shakes a little when you turn the wheel. The steering never acts up any other time, just after you put the car into drive (or reverse). Wondering if this is normal for those w/ or w/o active steering or should I take it in??

Thanks!!

I never had that happen. Sounds unusual to me.

It might help if all knew something about your ride.

I have an 04 automatic 530i with active steering and sports suspension. I have heard many people say that the active steering is wonderful in tight spaces, however, I cant agree with the general consensus becuase the damn wheel begins to shake after I throw it into drive or when I make several turns at low speed. You know, the more I think about this, the more convinced I am that this might be something major?
