Active steering mulfunction
Hello everyone
I'm not new to the site even though I have just registered. I haven't read about anyone with the same problem as mine.
I have a 2005 bmw e60 Europe specs. My active steering stopped working but anytime I hit a bump or a hole it comes back to life but the massage of faulty assistant steering reappears immediately while it is still working. And the light and the dashboard will still be on.
Any ideas of what exactly is happening?
The computer reads the angle sensor and the steering positioning. There is fluid in the steering container.
I'm so confused.

Hi,
It could be a defective SZL, Active Steering Sensor, or it may just be out of alignment. Try reinitializing active steering. It may be out of parameter triggering the error.
