Hello there everybody, I'm new here, I own a bmw e60 530i 2005
My active steering use to work well before but now I have to turn the steering wheel aloot in slow speeds,I should turn it one turn only but now I turn it two turns, even in high speeds the steering doesn't get heavy like before, I didn't get any error messages, I had my wheels bend from a pothole and my lower arm or upper not sure which one but they were replaced and I made an alignment but I still didn't fix my wheels but I'm fixing them this week.
And I have some some noise when I go over bumps to the right or left but if I'm going straight on a bump there is no sound, and sometimes there is a sound in the front right wheel the noise is similar to a phone vibrating

might want to have your suspension looked at. Maybe you have some ball joints, bushings (that sort of thing) getting worn. I felt like my active steering was getting looser too, but there are so many variables, bushings, tires, ect that come into play..... They found some lower control arm bushings that needed replaced, but it didn't seem to really pop back to what it was before, but its also hard to remember "before"
