Knowing the OP's model year would help as well. Forget the exact timing but at some point Active Steering was separated from the Sport Package and became a stand alone option...

I believe that's actually the Active Roll Stabilization system. It's basically an active sway bar which twists to counteract rolling.

You mean I got something more than the standard sport suspension?


I thought the only time sport was not sport was when you got a xi

Well aren't you a lucky ba$terd? I think ARS is part of the sport suspension and Active Steering is optional.

that's the active roll system. it doesnt always come with the active steering though, right?

I have active steering. Its very quick at parking lot speeds and an active steering warning light illuminates at start up
