Dropped car back off on monday 10/19/09. The SR came out with head mechanic and dude who replaced steering box. I think they thought I was fd up. Well I let head mechanic drive, I rode gun and dude sat in rear. We drove ten yards and they all felt it. The head dude said its the steering linkage then went into a twelve minute explanation. I simply asked why did the car leave after you fixed the steering box and you had to have felt the same problem? No reply. I think the dude probably couldnt find out the problem so he figured it had to be the steering box. When he was done he felt the "clunk" knew he screwed up but would have to eat the labor to remove the box and replace the steering linkage. Or maybe hes just a boob. Either way the dealership is at it again and im in a loaner. All I can say from this is GET A FRIGGIN WARRANTEE WHEN CPO RUNS OUT, this would have cost about 6k roughly considering the box was $3200 and I can only guess on the labor. Krozi thanks for the advise because I told them to check the steering shaft. Head mechanic was like "its the steering linkage" I was like are we really going to debate samantics when your crew is this ate up.
