Does ARS affect the car's ability to avoid bottoming out at high speeds over, i.e., dips in the highway? Or is that still exclusively the function of the springs? My 550 sport suspension seems tight enough, but looser than my last BMW (740i sport). It soaks up the bumps okay at 100 mph, but what about 120+? Does the active system maintain the same level of stiffness as speeds increase? In other words, does it get stiffer electronically/hydraulically when travelling in a straight line - not in a corner? I'm still amazed by the feeling while cornering. Its truly a great bit of kit the ARS.

ARS only stiffens the sway bars. Nothing to do with dampers and springs.
