Given the fact that Active Cruise Control uses radar, does this interfere with a radar detector?

Airliners and Air Traffic Control both use radar but each radar system effectively carries out its function.

Frequency and effective range will feature here.

No. I have a Valentine 1, and Active Cruise. They work perfectly together.

i've heard one v1 owner say that his detector lights up when there's an infiniti fx w/ active cruise control nearby...

I heared a rumour that police will not be able to measure your speed accuratly when you have the ACC engaged
(difficult to check the rumour: the police for one is never going to admit and/or confirm this  )

I also have V1 and ACC and don't have any problems although the V1 manual did say that it could cause interference.
