$2800! Wow! I can't imagine why my collision insurance didn't increase from my '97 540 to this car. With all of the creases, the E60 looks more difficult to repair than the E39.
At any rate, this will definitely test the friendship. I guess this is one example as to why insurance for 16 yr-olds is so high.

Well his dad is anal. He didn't even tell him yet. 
Nor does he plan too. His mom is sending me a check for the money. 
If his dad knew it'd be a long time before he could drive that car again.

If you have to replace the headlights, I'd go ahead and put in the clear corners which are available at www.bekkers.com

Yea but i don't want to buy two of them. I dont have and extra thousand to spend on the left corner. I really like them but i dont need them. And I'm pretty sure the car would look rediculous with one clear corner. I though about buying them both though. Im not tottaly sure.
