Does anyone have one of these they are looking to sell for a 535?? I am looking to purchase one, but also i would like to hear some reviews on it as well before doing so, is this thing really worth 1k?? If you have one and know anything about it, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have a V2 for my 08 535xi and love it! The added power is awesome, but the convenience factor is what sold me on it to be able to uninstall for dealer visits without actually having to change hardware. Money well spent, but in all honesty...you can find a v2 used for around $500 and it's just not as pretty of a screen. I don't keep mine plugged in for logging and whatnot or even most of it's other functions except for when I want to swap a map or whatnot.

I opted for a Jb4 over other n54 tunes. My brother has a Cobb Access-port for his RX-8 and he loves it. I must admit myself the ease of installing and uninstalling the tune is awesome especially when it needs to go to BMW for warranty related items.

However, the JB4 has a lot more bang for your buck. I also think the maps on the JB4 are better than the Cobb. If you plan on creating your own tune the Accessport will be better, but for base maps go JB4 all the way.

The JB4 takes ~30 minutes to install your first time and ~5 seconds to change maps. The Cobb takes ~2 minutes to install and ~2 minutes to change maps. I love being able to change maps so quickly on the move with the JB4.
Once you learn your way around the ECU you should be able to install and uninstall in ~15 minutes. Its actually pretty quick and easy even if you're not a talented DIY'er.

Cobb V3 FTW! I've been running a flash tune for 2 1/2 years and love the stability of a flash based tune. The OTS maps though are very conservative so if you want to take full advantage of the cobb spend the money to get a custom tune, a E30 map, or make friends with knowledgable tuners. Currently one of my buddies has been helping me use the ATR to make my own custom map and the car pulls like a freight train. Also having the customizable digital display is great.

If you're willing to spend the money on a custom tune or have the knowledge to DIY then the Cobb or Procede is the way to go. For base maps a JB4 is going to be the best value

As you can see they all have pretty similar power numbers. FBO + Upgraded Turbo n54's seem to do better with the Cobb or Procede so if you plan on upgrading the turbos eventually a JB4 won't be the best.
For slightly modded cars the Cobb is going to be the weakest with the JB4/Procede producing ~25whp more. However, the JB4 has the most cars running in the 11's with the Procede close behind. The Cobb isn't on many cars running 11's.

NOTE: In the comparison thread they are comparing with the Jb4 G4 board. The G5 board has been out for a while and has much more potential than the G4.
