I just discovered something today:
When I start my car, turn key to position 1, wait about 5 secs, the 'accept' screen on the I-drive disappears and the main menu appears! Go on and start the car, the lawyer screen doesn't come back!
Now, I don't know whether this is a software update (coz they updated my software about 3 wks ago) or it's just something I didn't try before
I know this may take longer than just to 'accept' the msg, but then it's another option!

Do you mean you have to wait 5 seconds in position 1 everytime you start the car?

[/quote]Yes...that's what I meant...it's a lot easier to just start the car and 'accept' the msg... but it's just a way of not having to do that...

The software in the 550i I have doesn't do that, you have to press the button to accept.
So WTF?
So WTF?

It's because people who drives 550 has a much higher networth than us with the 525...therefore it's important for you to accept the liability in case something happens..
Just joking...I don't know...could be when your car is delivered, they didn't have th latest software yet.....
