My Ride: 2011 F10 535i -Brilliant Graphite/Oyster 2006 E5004matic- I must have been on drugs when I got this car 2004 545i Black Sapphire/Truffle Brown interior

I have complained about this from day one. Dealer did some type of adjustment and things got better but there really is something wrong. If I have a lead foot and really press on gas peddle the car is fine , but when coasting away from a standing start and pressing easy on gas peddle car is very rough until it gets over 1500- 2000 RPMS. Not what you would expect from such a car.

I think someone should start a poll here and let's see how many of us have this problem. There is always strength in numbers when dealing with BWM.

Wow thats weird... Now you guys got me wondering if mine was really just overfilled with engine oil causing the roughness at 1100rpms.

Not sure if you guys have answered this question or not yet but what happens when you rev the engine up in neutral? Slow and Fast rev...

I had a jerky ride the same problem as you have written, when in first gear at low speeds, took it to the dealer a couple of times, they replaced the fly wheel and clutch, now much better and a smooth ride. I did wonder if this was a common fault as the parts were on back order and my friend with the same 520d has the same problem.

Let us know how you get on
