amp wires ?????
I just bought a 2008 bmw 535i. It has no sound out of anywhere, the dealer was supposed to fix it. It worked when I picked it up. Now no sound.I swear sometimes these shady dealers piss me off. I didn't take the time to look at the wheel well where the amp is located. To my surprise THE AMP DOESN"T EVEN HAVE A COVER!!! they temporarily fixed it to work and send it out the door. There is wires that are disconnected I am attaching pictures. Can someone tell or post a picture of where the green wires go to. There is also a couple of relish wires with a small plastic connector. I already laid onto them about it because this was one of the things that they had to fix and it was rigged not fixed he said he would order a new amp. In the meantime I would like to plug everything where it goes so I can at least have some sound. Any help is appreciated I have attached the pictures
Can someone tell me where the wires for the amp need to go?

It came from the factory with a cover. Really not sure what happened here... Wow, sorry to see that. Which wires are disconnected? I think the green wire you're talking about is a fiber optic MOST cable. I also believe that fiber cable goes into the bottom and becomes the two black cables that go all the way across the board in the amp.
Edit: On second glance, I see a green wire at the far left in your photo. That looks to me like another fiber MOST cable, perhaps for a satellite radio unit? My E61 has the satellite unit over in that area and I've disconnected it (since it was dead and I don't want anyway) and put a MOST terminator loop on it, something kind of like

There is two green wires optical going into the amp and two loose green wires hooked up to nothing. Then a orange and brown wire with a small black connector.

It's odd to me that the optical line is pulled out. I wonder if something on the MOST bus failed and the dealer tried to isolate it out. I'd be tempted to try to connect some of those loose lines with a loop terminator. But I acknowledge that's probably not a simple plug and play thing here.
