Thumbs up

Hi guys
I have two very interesting questions. Does any one know how fast the 530i with 258hp do 0-200km/h and 100-200km/h. My car is pretty new so I haven't tried this myself and also we have something called winter in Sweden right now
I'm looking forward to some answers.
Cheers!

No. Just guesses. No automotive testers to my knowledge have tested the 530i in its current form yet.

look at the 330i on www.e90post.com they give the 0-200 something like 24seconds if my mind isnt playing tricks... since the 5series is slightly heavier you might add a second to the result, and you should
have it !

A curb weight difference equal to or less than variance in driver weight accounting for an entire second? I think not. We're just going to have to wait for a real test.

My Ride: 130i, 265 HP, just serious extras

I can tell you for the 130i, same engine, but air intake modified (265 HP), car weighs 1450 kg.

0-200 km/h is app. 20-21 sec., I cannot time it more acturately.
0-180 km/h is 18 sec.
0-100 km/h is ~ 5,7 sec. (BMW nr. is 6,1, but its faster).

Hope it helps anything.

OK, go here. Then, click 5 (that's 5 in German). Next click "Limousine (means a really long car in German)." Now, on the left, click "Tesberichte (means my how fast they go in German). Finally, click trough the list of linked articles. And, don't tell anyone about my insturctions; the site is my secret information source about all sorts of things. And, my German is nonexistant, but I can usually figure out at least the numbers. As I recall, there are 2 530d tests in those listed. Let me know how it works out. But, you probably know German and 6 other languages as well. I wish we had had to study at least one second language seriously all the way through school. Our schools were OK back then; now they only provide mostly babysitting services until age 18.
