m5 wheels you say

you will HAVE TO BUY A M5 fender, as the front tyres are wider at the front, however if you change the tyre size from the stock M5 Conti sport, then possibley, but i hav eread it on this forum some were recently

as i had OEM BBS M5 WHEELS ON MY STOCK FENDER (THERE WERE RUBBING OVER BUMBS ON THE FRONT ARCHES ), CHANGED TO THE WIDER M5 FENDER AS I GOT THESE WHEELS.

thanks alot e60beemer so when u changed the fenders there was a difference right and now no rubbing , and in case i wanted the same offset of the stock m5 wheels i must change the fenders otherwise i can keep my orginal fenders but change the offset of the tires right

You will need new tire sizes for the 166 to fit the non M5 e60:

245/35/19 Front

285/30/19 Rear

Hope this helps!

Changing fenders is not necessary. What is necessary is changing the tire sizes. I just put OEM 166 M5 Wheels on my 04 545i, much like a lot of other members have done.

Front Tire Size: 245/35/19
Rear Tire Size: 275/30/19

No issues with rubbing whatsoever.
