So the other day i went to umnitza to pick up my M5 bumper and Side skirts. They have a sale on M5 bumper for $295, sweet deal if u ask me, Also Tim, gave me a good deal on the side skirts. While i was there i also asked about HID kit for the fog lights. Tim offered me a 9006 6000k Hid slim kit for my fogs, when i asked him if they will cause any idrive error, he said no and assured me idrive doesnt throw any errors for fog lights.....my question is it true? if yes then why are the HID kits for fogs light selling for $125 or more when you can get 9006 hid kit on ebay for $40 shipped?
Also one of my hid bulb is turning pink, so i wanna replace the bulb..where should i buy the replacment bulb? and is it D1C? i check on sylvannia and thats the bulb number i got?
Can i buy the D1C bulbs on ebay? or i have to buy from a specific person>?
thank you guys

I thought for pre-LCI, it's D1S. Anyway I have no plan to change out my headlight bulbs yet but if I do, I'll probably get it from the same vendor or whichever vendor that sells it for cheaper. The way I see it is that, other people sell their for more than twice the amount I can get from DDM, then might as well buy it at DDM. With the amount of money I save, I can buy another set just in case.

EBay HID kits are a big no-no. All of them say they work and 99% of them do not work. The $300+ MTEC hid kits work! I am against using error cancellors. Plug them in the wrong way, it blows up (small blow up not too bad but smells). If it shorts or power surges, u can say goodbye to the ballast and/or the error cancellor . I sell HID kits at the price I sell for a reason. They are guaranteed to work with NO FLICKERING. Even some HID kits after the error cancellors, there's a slight slight flickering that can be seen. Take the opinions and advice above from the members or if you're interested in my fully plug and play HID kits, send me a PM.
Oh, and dont even try the D1C bulbs from ebay. I've tried them all and none of them work. They ALL flicker. Send me a PM if you're interested in a package deal for lighting.
THanks
John

Each to their own... but John does carry good stuff. If you're worried about explosions and fireworks, then buy from him.
I blew up a resistor once... lol. Lets just say I will never reverse a connection again.
Also just curious john, can you get your hands on any DOT Phillips kits?

Sach - we offer a pretty good quality D1S bulb - actually they are all D1C - universal fitment applications.
We offer them for $60-90 depending on the quality requirements for a pair.
We're also going to run a special today for those of you with D2S for $30 shipped for a pair of 6K or 8K bulbs.

D1S/C bulbs are really good if you buy original Philips, just a lot more expensive. In the old days, Philips only made 4300K and 5800K ultinon, very expensive. Not sure they do the same for the D1 system.
