Dear all,
I have been reading about the Angel Eyes upgrade for a while. I found that HID is cheaper than LED and probably brighter. Therefore I have decided to try 8500K GP Thunder H8 for my 2008 535i. I just want to get one more check from professionals like you all..
1. Will 8500K GP Thunder work perfectly without computer error message for my model?
2. Should I go with 8500K GP Thunder or should I pick up a LED type?
Thank you for all the inputs.
Jack

Hi Jack
The HID kit won't work for your car. Currently the easiest method is replacing it with H8 bulbs.

Dear Michael,
Thank you for the fast reply. But I am confused. Can you tell me if this bulb will work on my car? http://www.e92-lighting.com/products/GP_TH..._WHI-61-17.html
Thank you,
Jack

Jack that bulb will work, that's what I and most LCI owners are using for an AE upgrade.
That is a halogen, xenon/hid "match" bulb...not an actual HID bulb/kit

(headlights on), this bulb will turn back to the yellow color. Can someone confirm this?

Thank you for your reply. But there is a problem. I was told that if I turn on the xenons
(headlights on), this bulb will turn back to the yellow color. Can someone confirm this?

there is a kit being put out that will retard this function:

I am waiting for this kit to arrive as I purchased it already...
not sure how electrically inclined you are but member BlaSTiWi was able to put together a similar kit on his own, perhaps a PM to him might help...
