6HP19 Auto trans service. Solenoids as preventative maintenance?
I newly acquired a 2010 535i that has been cared for by the previous owner with the exception of the auto trans which I think is still on original fluid.
I planned to change out the filter, pan, gasket, and valve body sealing sleeves (mechatronics).
while Im in there, should I also be replacing the shift solenoids or is that overkill?
car has 111k and shifts relatively smoothly now, and has never thrown a trans code.
what do you think?

My Ride: 535xi

When we got our 535xi it shifted perfectly but I'm a trans fluid change believer. I simply drained and refilled the first time with the plan of doing it again with a new pan filter. A thousand miles later I replaced the filter and fluid. I've replaced fluid once more because I tried to stop a leaking drain plug and snapped it. It shifts perfectly at 225,000 miles.

what interval are you following for filter and fluid changes?
