Hi All-

I have an 04 545 with the sport package and am getting tired of my old Style 124 rims. I have a friend who has a set of Style 120s for a 645 and they will fit, but the offsets are different (14/18 staggered vs 20mm standard). Is the 2mm-6mm offset going to matter performance wise? Also, this car has Active Steering on it- will this matter also?

thx

If you want to sell the 124s let me know, I might be interested. I don't need the tires since I want to use the rims as a winter set.

Just looking for a bit of clarification. I checked the offsets of M6 style 167 wheels--- fronts (8.5"w) have ET 12 offsets, and the rears (9.5"w) have ET 17 offsets (which is more "outboard" than the M5 version of the same wheel--- ET 12 front and ET 28 back).

So, my question is this--- I am looking at getting some Beyern wheels (staggered 19 x 8.5" front and 19 x 9.5" back).
The fronts are ET 15 offset, so no problem there. I can get the rears in ET 15, 25, or 30...

I'm thinking that ET 15 rear should still work (only 2mm more outboard than those M6 wheels)...
and my fenders are already rolled.

Anyone have experience with M6 rear wheels, and if we can fit ET 15 wheels on a 545 (sport suspension just like the OP).

thanks much.

If I'm not mistaken, the only difference between the M5 and M6 offsets are the rears. I got 166's in M6 offsets and they are flush in the rear, no rubbing, great!

I had these on my 545i before and the fronts rubbed, just the right side when i made a full turn.
