Hi everyone, I have been a member of this site for a while now but have not actively participated.
I reciently just bought a brand new 535i two weeks ago
and have been trying to keep myself busy till my car comes in April with other peoples pictures, questions and stories on this forum.
Anyway, the reason I decided to start a new thread is because i just got back from eating dinner and noticed this car parked the lot. I thought i was mistaken so I took a picture of it with my cell phone. Not the best of quality but it will have to do i guess.
Its a 555i and i am positive they are not out yet. It is bought from the same dealer i just bought my car from, Emhurst BMW in the Chicagoland area. I will try to get in touch with someone from the dealer this week to see what the hell happened here. It looks like the new LCI and doesn't have a sport package. Not much more I saw or could tell but what do the rest of you know about a 555i in the wild?
I am wondering if this person changed the badge on his car his own, or maybe the dealer debadged the car and rebadged it as a 555i?
Strange either way if you ask me

There was a guy at our recent Central Cali meet who changed their badge to read 555 hahaha

Looks like someone having some fun. They dropped the "3" in middle and put in the "5". As I recall, there is someone who is a member of this forum who did this as well but I think they are in California.

That 2nd pic is pre-LCI (rear bumper is different than above), pre-LCI rear plate area, and it is probably a 525...if I recall that post.
