550i valve springs
Hello everyone - I really need to know if the valve springs for intake and exhaust are the same or if they are different sizes. I recently did the valve stem seals and the springs off so they have been installed in a different spot than where they were originally. I do see there is yellowish paint marks on some but not all of them have it. The local BMW parts dept. said its the same part# for all of the spring and that they are the same but I read in one of the manuals that they are not the same size. Can someone please confirm if they are the same size or not I'm so afraid to start the motor and cause serious damages.
