Can't seem to get the quad exhaust monkey off my back...
So, I know there is no specific Remus quad exhaust kit for the 550.
The 530 kit seems like it works, with a slight modification to where the Remus unit meets the stock exhaust.
However, 2 questions remain...
1. Do the passenger side tips need to be "notched" in order to clear the battery box, or do the Remus tips fit? I don't want the tips sticking out much further than stock. I like the flat cut tips that Remus offers in the kit if that makes a difference.
2. Does this kit fit an OEM M5 rear bumper or will the pipes be resting against the inside of the bumper? I know the stock exhaust seems to have an issue with that.
My access to custom shops is fairly minimal as I'm in Utah so the Remus seems like a good place to start. If anyone has done this on their 550i let me know your experience.
