I'm about to order my 550i and i would love a thread dedicated to 550i driver impressions.
Engine power.. what cars you have killed.. would be greatly appreciated

Welcome aboard & glad you are joining us. You will love this car. 
The 4.8l engine is so fun to run up and down the RPMs I sometime wish I had ordered SMG (or manual) ... so you might consider that. I think the best option to get is the M Kit ... it looks so fantastic. Otherwise, load it up and enjoy. If I was ordering now I would certainly get the HD radio too.

I own a now defunct 545i :'( and would love a direct comparison of the driving dynamics of the 550 vs. 545 - ideally after the break-in period has ended. I heard it is much better than the 30 hp difference would suggest.
