550i Dipstick Question
Hey guys I'm new to the forums! Alright I own a 2008 550i m-sport. My question is what is the dipstick in the pictures below for? Because I heard E60s dont have dipsticks... Is it Oil? Transmission? I heard its a hidden transmission oil dipstick. I know you guys will know Thanks.

that's the engine oil dipstick. The 550i is the last BMW to have one. There is no transmission dipstick, you have to have the car level on a lift, with the engine running and fluid between 30 and 50C to check it.

For heaven's sake, detail that engine compartment.

Oil dipstick
You check through the idrive but some E60 models do also have the engine oil dipstick, for example E60 550i has it as shown in the OP picture.

Sorry bud, you do have a oil dipstick on your n62. No e60's have transmission fluid dipsticks.

Re
It would also help if you have more details showing where is this dipstick connected to the transmission?
