In some other postings here, there's been a discussion about the performance of the 535i vs. the 550i, including power to weight ratios, torque performance of the two engines, etc. To try and put things into a visual perspective, I downloaded the engine HP and torque curves from the forum, and drew the 535i's curves onto the same chart as the 550's. Here's the result of my rough drawing. Not 100% scientific, and perhaps a bit off, but the comparison is interesting.
