Since you are asking our opinions, mine is that the 7 is just too boat-like and stodgy. That's just my opinion, but the nimbleness of the lighter vehicles makes for faster reacting driving from a handling perspective.
And from an image perspective, the 7's are simply over the top, not youthful, not sporty, not athletic. But if those image aspects don't matter, then don't worry. If you prefer to make more of an upscale impression for yourself and don't care about the mass and what it does for handling sportiness, then go for it. ( my initial impression of the 7's when I first saw them upon introduction was that they looked like some of the Japanese cars)

My Ride: 2006 525i, Titanium, Automatic, Sportsuspension, Nav, Satellite, HUD, Phone Kit, 19" wheels 245 front 275 rear.
Last Suturday I got hit on my drivers side...while I am fine my car is not 2 airbags went off and the dealer gave me an estimate of $9300.00. Part of the problem is that they need to cut and replace the A and B pillars as well as the rocker panel (Cut & Weld). Should I keep the car or get something else? It is 2006 525i with almost every opion and 16k on the clock.....and I am worried about problems later on
Thanks

I crashed car will never, ever, be the same.
If you have possibilities to change car, go fot it!
And my answer to the topic.
Here in the city a 7-series would be too large ( I could not fit it in the my jobs garage) but living and working suburban I would definetly go for the 7!
